[VC] Battle Drops Coming Friday March 16!

    Thank you Shadowmaster. I guess what would be super duper is to have two choices to level and be strong, those that want to spend their retirement and boss level, do so, and those of us that want to attack level can have that choice and be just as strong. The Muspell debacle really hurt the high level players at that time because all those low levels came up the levels fast with ~~5000 extra strong weapons than we had. And Kendall, Mike makes a very good point, what in the world do we need counters after level 10,000 for if this is a battling game?

    Something new should be done for the higher leveled players of the game. I don't think it should be in the form of new and stronger items though. As the highest level players in the game, you pretty much destroy all competition as it is save for whatever dismal battle list/rivals list you do have.

    Which is why I asked if any of you - who have gone beyond the realms of what anyone expected - have any ideas as to what can be done to improve your gaming experience.

    I was thinking of perhaps a special boss that is only available to those at like level 7K and up. It could be a world boss just meant for the higher levels. High attack, High defense. Of course, the drop items would have to be rewarding if you're going to waste stamina on it, so that counteracts with my original point.

    I've never been that high of a level so I can't say what would or would not make the game more enjoyable for you. Bring your ideas to the forum at least.

    I got an idea for you Kul that would create more battling, 3 defenders on elites, so that you can lower your defense by 5% a time up to 15%, that way more people could interract.

    Kul, what does it hurt us if they have better weapons?

  6. Killing someone on the bounty doesn't really mean anything.

    You have killed Clan Leader Kel the Merciful King and collected their Bounty of 56,744,027,629,932 coins.

    I get that you're joking though. They're so far ahead in terms of levels and weapons, skill points and etc that I'm sure few can keep up. Giving them stronger items as they keep leveling up to where no one else can catch up and you'll essentially turn them into Gods.

    Mike is over level 12K now, right? How long before he reaches 15K? 20K?

    I mean, I'm not trying to be an ass about this. I understand that they're players too and deserve to be rewarded in the game too, but making them stronger than they already are seems to be detrimental to the game.

    Which is why I was hoping to suggest something that they could all enjoy at their massive level without putting them further into a "league of their own".

    I don't expect my opinion to be taken seriously though. The battle drops seem like a little, fun and nice addition for those of us in the middle ground, so to speak.

    I'll just leave it at that for now. I honestly hope there's something that can be done to appease those like Mike, Deb, Bully and Kel, but I don't know what could be done for them who have gone so far.

    No it was ironic because that literally just happened. Like I hit post and then I went bounty and I was like "Oh hello Deb". I'm clanned up with Bully and Mike so I never get the chance at them but I am pretty sure that they are equally as strong as Deb if not stronger and are already in a "league of their own", my point is that a few extra weapons aren't going to do anything to the rest of us but will significantly improve their gaming among themselves. Besides, why wouldn't they be able to continue to have more opportunities to get stronger and stronger as they level? That is the way the game should work, in my opinion.

    ummmm, how about i go out on a limb here and say...thanks? free drops that werent there before guys and gals, its not BIASED towards anyone, you cant blame kano for there only being 3 players in the 8k-9k level range lol theyre just adding to the game and its going to do nothing but make it more interesting for everyone in one way or another..sheesh, give the guys that have made the coolest game ever a break...youre not that high because you DONT like the game...again, AWESOME idea guys and thanks for adding to an already awesome game!

    Can you get a battle drop if you are attacked and win? This would encourage players to have a better defence.

    In response to these discussions, I've posted the below suggestion on the Ideas Forum, so you can score it.

    As an idea to make it more fun for higher level players, how about a god like status once you reach a very high level e.g. 10,000+. As a god you can loan your strength to other players for a set period of time e.g. 10 minutes. During this time the player the strength is loaned to has the benefit of the strength and can in theory win battles. The god level player will drop their strength by the amount loaned and moves into a new group of battle rivals. There needs to be a pay off for the god level player loaning strength and this could be a feed of XP from the boosted player, For example 5 x the normal battle XP from the battles they win during the loan time. In this way the god level player has to decide when is the best time to loan strength and to whom.

    There would need to be restrictions to avoid loans of strength to the same players (leveling partners). So possibly they could only loan strength to a person, once per day?

    You could also introduce another level of players demi gods e.g. level 5,000 - 10,000. Not sure what attributes to give these, but the key point would be making it easier for more players to battle with higher level players and have a chance of winning, while at the same time giving the high level players another method of earning XP.
  12. Well, that was odd. For such a low drop rate, I just got two Tempest Maidens in a row, then two more shortly after.

    battle drops disappointing got 5 out of 2500 battles (not all with the same clan ) and got 5 drops . 2 of which stats are to low i dont use
  14. ok is there any chance when the drop item is attained you can state how many are owned? like it does when u get a drop off adventures?? this way when u can easily adjust the warriors/weapons that use upkeep.

    Just a suggestion not a big deal if it cant be done.

  16. Yes I know its there but I'm just saying when you get drops off bosses and adventures it comes up in brackets how many you own..like I said its just a suggestion.
  17. I would personally prefer a Battle Drop filter for the inventory.

    I think this a good idea, would help increase player numbers available for battles instead of most just putting themselves in hospital before going offline. Seems a fair addition and I know there are some players in game whose strategy is a defence based one, seems only fair they be able to reap some rewards for being attacked and winning. Who knows, it may even bring a whole different style of strategy into game if it was introduced.....

    Bully, as you know, every time I go to engage you, I am met with a counter. Message received. Don't want to battle me. Its fine.

    Wrt to the Ketil suggestion re counters, he is in range now, and he has the use of counters to attempt to kill me. That is what they are there for or to resist a challenger. He has likely the most or second most counters of anyone in the game. If there were no counters, we would battle to 5000 everyday. It would just be a question of who would get there first, a boring outcome to me.
