With this post we wanted to give a quick reminder of the World Chat guidelines and go over how it is different from the Lounge/Tavern Chat. The World Chat is our open public chat that is meant for everyone in the games. This isn’t a platform to target or insult other players, swear and use profanity (including acronyms) or in general contribute to a toxic environment.
We understand that our games are combat oriented and some light ribbing on the on-going battles in the game are fine. However, please remember that this is a friendly chat and coming into it to trash talk other people all day is not acceptable.
If you loved the Lounge/Tavern Chat, that is great and there are a lot of options if you're looking to replicate that experience. You can create custom group chats with your friends in the games, as well as numerous free chat clients that exist out there like Facebook Messenger, Discord, Skype, etc, for you to select.
We don’t expect everyone to get along all the time, but please respect the chat.
