    Guild Wars has been released.

Info/Feedback/Suggestions/Bugs please visit the Wars Discussion thread:

-war bounties will put you on your enemies personal rival list as well as Guild war rival list. This is necessary to prevent players skipping in and out of wars and Guilds bountying people without repercussion.

-war axe slaps and attacks will not add you to your enemies personal rival list but will add you to the Guild war rival list. This is intended to keep some of the attacks at a minimum for some mismatched players rather then having them added to a personal rival list for a days whooping outside of wars. Note if you do go over the limit of 5 attacks or 4 punches per day you will be added to your ememies personal rival list.

-war bounty points will be increased from 4 to 10. Bounties do cost more and now with the level limits deserve a higher point reward.

-bountying for war points level restriction change, you can bounty another player for war points if you are less then 3x their level, or if you are greater then their level divided by 3. This will give a wider range then the previous multiplier of 2.

We will be releasing an update shortly that will put a level range limit on War Point targets that can be bountied with points rewarded. Regular bounty rules will still apply but War Points will only be received for players that are 1/2 your level or double your level, if all goes well we will be looking to put base costs into effect with that range. So a level 5000 player can only earn war points for bountying a 2500 level player up to a level 10,000 player.

We decided to not modify the existing mechanic where attacking a player puts you in their personal rival list because if it didn't players could jump in and out of factions in war mode to list and attack other players in War Mode without giving the attacked players a chance to retaliate.

We will update this thread when the bounty range change goes live. I would like to re-iterate that this feature is not meant for every guild, it is for those Guilds that have been asking for something more than just collecting GP and looking for more competition around PvP Battles. It was our fault for releasing this feature with an opt-out time out, we thought we had removed this yesterday but in some situations Guilds were still locked in, the time out has since been removed while we continue to go through this beta period. For the time being, until we feel that Guild Wars is stable and feedback has been given we will leave opting in and opting out of war mode with no time restrictions but please be aware that attacking other players in war mode will put you on the persons individual rival list as well as their factions rival list, this is an enhanced PvP experience so players need to be aware of what they are doing and using some strategy in their attacks especially if they are a lower level.

If you have Guild members that were of a lower level or are one of the ones that have severe grievance and were locked into War Mode and are no longer, please write into support detailing your experience with issues and we will do our best to make sure you are a happy VC player: http://www.kanoapps.com/contact-support/

The bounty range restriction to earn WP's and XP from war targets has now been released.

    What does this mean?

Players in war mode can only receive war points and XP from bountying targets that are either half their level or double their level. Based on feedback and consideration we may then look at re-introducing the base bounty cost for war mode bounties.

Feedback in the discussion thread is always appreciated:

Just to re-iterate what was stated above, if you were one of the ones that was negatively impacted from the bug that did not allow you to remove the Guild Wars option from your Guild please send an email into support stating in detail the negative issues that were faced and how it impacted you in the game and we will do our best to handle on a case by case basis.
