TGIF! Development News for May 17, 2019

Happy Friday everyone!

It’s been a very busy week here at Kano HQ, but there’s sadly not as much sunshine as last week. That doesn’t mean there isn’t anything to cover, so let’s go over this past week in development news:

May Feature Raid Event

The horrifying Jotnar have assaulted Jord’s castle and she is calling for your aid! Band together with your Clan and take down these villainous raiders from Jotunheim.

Pirate Clan, an elite force from the Royal Navy plans to attack Anne Bonny’s fleet next week...



Mafia Gunman Raid Shop

This past week, due to an unintended error on our part, there was an item in the Mother’s Day Raid Shop available for one Raid Token that could then be exchanged for Favor Points in the Pawn Shop. This was not supposed to be the case - one Raid Token items are not meant to be traded in - but this availability lead to a small number of players receiving a large amount of Favor Points in a short time period.

To be clear, we at Kano do not place the blame for using this loop on the players. From the outside, we understand how this could look like an intentional occurrence. However, this mistake was 100% on our end and we are deeply sorry for it. That said, because of the unintended nature of this event, we could not let the amount of FP sit in the game nor could we allow this to continue to be used. We understand and sympathize with the large volume of frustrated comments that have come our way via forums and Support. You can read our wrap-up thread for further details.

We finished up the process of restoring accounts and will continue to engage with those players via Support where necessary.

Faction Quests

Faction Quests are on in Zombie Slayer! The Quests are running until Monday at noon, so band together with your Faction, or join one, to get in on the event.
