TGIF! Development News for July 19, 2019

Happy Friday everyone!

Despite being under the weather with the illness that has been plaguing the office, I am committed to bringing you the latest in development news! Let’s get to what’s new this past week with a look at some upcoming stuff as well:

Facebook Pop-Up Issues (Gifting, Help Requests)

Since Wednesday this week, we’ve seen a lot of tickets, forum posts and World Chat comments about the dialog box for Gifting and Help requests constantly popping up on Facebook.

Unfortunately this is a Facebook issue and we have to wait for them to fix it. We’re far from the only application facing this problem, and there is an open bug report with Facebook to get this resolved. Right now we don’t have an ETA on this, but we hope it is fixed up soon!

In the meantime if you want to avoid any Facebook-related woes, you can use the mobile apps to send Gifts without fear! Simply log in to the mobile app with your Facebook credentials and it will connect you with your character.

Speeding at you, the SDU Detective Co-op Boss is now available for Mobsters in the Hong Kong Location! Crafting will follow next week closing out the releases for this Location.

Pirate Clan, we’re coming up on the tenth anniversary of the game next week! Much like Viking Clan earlier this year we have a little something planned so keep your eyes open on July 25th.

And as a final note, new Crates will be available next Friday with a mix of new Legendary items!

Mob Wars: LCN Syndicate Quests are on now!

Syndicate Quests are on in Mob Wars: LCN right now until Monday, July 22nd at noon Pacific. Based on feedback from last time we made a couple adjustments to the Hard Job requirement and the Medium Loot Case item payout and are open to making more alterations in the future.

Viking Clan Guild Quests

Guild Quests will return to Viking Clan next week on July 25th at 9am Pacific! Make sure to recruit some more members to tackle those more difficult Quests!

Mobile Updates

We have a pretty important mobile update this week as we are rolling out the change to version 3.0 starting today. This will reduce the overall size of the app and optimize the boot up process in addition to other bug fixes. Make sure to check your phone’s App Store to get the latest updates!

We also rolled out some smaller changes for the mobile apps this week, including:

• Added buttons to show your Fight Achievements and Messages in the Fight Response.
  • Achievements show progress towards Wins, Consecutive Wins and Survival Streak.
  • Messaging opens the canned messages interface.
