TGIF! Development News for February 8, 2019

Happy Friday, everyone!

Thanks for joining us at the end of another week for a development news update! It’s snowing like crazy (well, for our standards) right now, but like the postal service we don’t let that stop us from delivering the news. Read on to find out the latest on what’s happening in game!

New Content

Right now in the games you can pick up the new Valentine Crates! Remember, a Master Three-Pack contains one guaranteed Legendary item. Just look for the “Best Value” tag.

Also for our hungry Slayers, your new Location is currently on deck to launch next week. Keep your eyes on the News feed for more info!

Speaking of the new Location, we have a cool art time-lapse that our in-house artist did making the Single Boss for this Location. If you’d like to avoid spoiling yourself in advance, don’t watch it, but it’s a good insight into all the work and tweaking that goes into bringing you just one piece of all the great art that is in our games.

And one last thing to look out for, we are prepping Armada Quests for another test run in Pirate Clan before the end of February! We've got a laundry list of changes from last time, so keep your eyes on this space for updates!

Achievement Progress Screen Update

This one maybe doesn’t deserve a whole section but I think it’s just so gosh darn neat that I made one for it anyways.

If you’ve ever checked out the Achievements tab on your profile in the past, you’ll notice that due to text size and page breaks the bar would get rather unruly as you could see here:



Doesn’t look very nice right? Well this week we updated that to be a % completion instead of a fraction and now it looks like this:



Pretty spiffy looking! It’s just part of the process of cleaning up the games and making them look up to snuff for the current year. Make sure to let us know if there’s any parts of the interface you’d like us to polish up a bit and we’ll look into it!

Bug Fixes

There are a couple quick bug fixes to note this week. Thanks to the players who let us know about these via the forums and Support!

• Android devices were having trouble redeeming Bonus links on the mobile app. We’ve pushed a fix for this, so it should be working again correctly.
• On mobile Chat, the “Mute” function would not correctly block any new messages. This has been fixed.
