TGIF! Development News for August 2, 2019

Happy Friday everyone!

We’re heading into the long weekend here at the Kano HQ (it’s the Civic Holiday here in Canada, quite the exciting name I know) but we’ve still got some development news to drop on you before we go!

As a reminder about long weekends, there will be a slightly longer delay in responded to tickets in Support but rest assured we’ll get to everyone as soon as we can!

Now let’s go over what’s new in development news this week:

In Game Events!



Breach and clear! The CTU Assault Team Raid Boss is on this weekend in Mob Wars: LCN! Team up with your fellow Mobsters and take the fight back to these objectionable operators.

Armada Quests are up and running in Pirate Clan as well! You have until Monday August 5 at noon Pacific to get these done to earn the rewards, so band together with your Armada or recruit some new members if you need to.

We’re also getting close to the release of something we’ve been teasing for the last little while. There’s been some great sessions here in the office around it and we can’t wait to share it with you all. Stay tuned for more news about that soon!

Another important thing to note is that starting next week, the Bonus Boosts will be released on Wednesday and Saturday instead of Monday and Thursday. Nothing else is changing about the Bonus Boosts, just the days they are being released! So when Monday rolls around with no Bonus Boost, don’t be surprised, there will be one on Wednesday instead.

Mobile Updates

Our process of improving the mobile apps continues this week with a couple updates to the Fight list and arming. For the Fight list we removed the player avatars and reorganized the information to be a lot easier to read and to fight more targets on the list which is good news for you pugilists out there.

The other update is that you can now select which custom Loadout you’d like to use on the mobile app without having to go digging for it in the Settings anymore. Go to the Arming screen from your Profile and under the “Arming Loadout” button a carousel will open which will let you pick if you want to use Loadout A, B or C. You can also access it from the Fight response screen by clicking on your Loadout to the left of your avatar.
