Why do some bosses show a percentage of completion and some don't.
Some bosses require a certain amount of damage in order to get certain items when it dies, some just drop them randomly.
This has nothing to do with drops. I never mentioned "drops" once. Guess your reading comprehension is a bit off.
As you attack a boss, some will show a percentage of completion. Some do not. Why.
The previous answer was correct but you choose to be rude instead.. I will try to rephrase so you can comprehend;
It has everything to do with a kill reward prize drop.
SOME bosses in some cities have a completion reward drop. These few bosses with a completion reward show the percentage completed toward the kill reward.
The percentage completed is for the reward drop from the boss - NOT the boss itself. Dont get 100% before boss is killed, you dont get the reward. Simple.
The remainder of the Zombie Slayer bosses do not have a completion reward. Accordingly, these bosses do not show the percentage completion.
Only a few Zombie bosses have the completion rewards and corresponding percentage completed display. This is opposite of the other three games where almost all bosses have the percentage completion and corresponding reward drop.
Wil Wheaton will be disappointed
Here is an example:
Both coup boss.
Both have random kill rewards.
Both do not show percentage of completion, as noted in the image.
Cosmonaut Rewards & Mercenary Rewards
also cosmonaut is a single boss...but some single bosses have min dmg kill rewards
