It would be hard to prove as I doubt they have any records of that sort of thing, but Ive rode the bounty in excess of 6 hrs on myspace when their participation numbers were at their highest. Could have stayed up there a long as i would have liked but it got boring and had my guild member take me down. The only other person Ive ever seen come close to that was the same guild member that I had take me down.
I tell u this, after about 15 mins most people give up trying .... when I rode 2 1/2 hours (snoring) I was untouched most of the time. Seen one guy heal for 8 hours, when the game was a competition of battle skills. And yes, the OP Investigator there should get more level achievements now ... he paid for the Raid Bosses and should be rewarded for his whale contributions.
