Friday the 13th calendar question

i know the 4 superstitions that appear in the latest weekend calendar, but there is one thing that puzzles me. there appears to be a duck (or other type of bird-like creature, at least to my eyes) in the mirror. is there any significance to this, or is it just in honor of mi7ch?

so this is more of a Kano superstition, as opposed to a more widely known one like the black cat or the broken mirror?

 

good catch. these happen so infrequently they're easy to miss. my favorite is the "version 2" of a calendar a while back due to our "creative interpretation."
