mateys and I note that the DJQ to play the lottery always has the chest disappear with no booty. Arrrrrrgh.
You get a Lottery ticket as a reward for the Lottery page quest. We call that out on the Daily Quest page as well as the reward: Hope that clears things up!
Just check what the quest is first thing of the day before heading to the lottery. If its this one, just go to re-roll the quest.
