    I have tried the following..
All three Blacksmith items (divesuit, juggernaut and ship) in combo with red pearl and Atlantis Blade
Blacksmith + Atlantis Blade + Treasure Chest
Blacksmith + Atlantis Blade + Silver Hook
Blacksmith + Silver Hook + Deadeye Helm
Blacksmith + Silver Hook + Marlinspike

    Back to the drawing board...

Obviously one of those has to be a gift. But using logic, we can find out that one of the non-gifts is the Red Pearl Compass.
I tried the Red Pearl Compass + Silver Hook with EVERY PREVIOUS Blacksmith item.

ive been following this thread for sum time now
based on all previous hidden blacksmith recipes the coastguard is the most likely item
i agree with the silver hook and the redpearl compas, but all 3 dont work togethere
im thinking most likely the silver hook is the wrong gift, im missing a few but i keep asking for different ones and trying more

Coast Guard? Is that from a challenge?

EDIT: wouldn't it be the Ancient Dive Suit instead? That's the Blacksmith item directly before.
I'll try Ancient Dive Suit + Red Pearl Compass + gift.

    Parrot
    Silver Hook
    Cannon (need it)
    Eye Patch
    Dual Scimitars
    Jolly Roger (need it)
    Ship Helm (need it)
    Compass
    Bone Necklace
    Melee Scimitar (need it)
    Pirate Monkey (need it)
    Chinese Pirate Sails
    Rabbit Skull Bandana
    Boxing Gloves (need it)
    Pirate Tombstone (need it)
    Zombie Compass
    Zombie Dagger
    Bandit Gloves

    Pirate Captain Hat (need it)

It's possible that I simply skipped over some items because I found a few later. I stopped before I got to the December gifts also.

I am in Cartegena and I have done everything in Atlantis except the Silverspike. That I can't figure out. But what I want to know is where did you get an Atlantis Blade? I don't have one and can't find one, so I would like to know where to get it. I did the whole gambit and it didn't come from there. The Trident did. Please enlighten me.

  7. atlantis blade is a drop from sea serpent

Ok, then that may be why. I am on level 9 of the sea serpent. Maybe I have to finish 10 to get the blade. Thanks for the info.

    Could you sort that somehow?
And cut out everything without ONE gift? The Secret Ninja guy told us one of the items HAS to be a gift.
And it practically HAS to be the Red Pearl Compass. I haven't heard from anyone saying that a different item is unlocked at level 175. Since the Silverspike requires level 175, and the Red Pearl Compass adventure is supposedly unlocked at level 175...Simple.
So, the second non-gift item canNOT be obtained after the Red Pearl Compass. This leaves any Atlantis Blacksmith items, the Atlantis boss, and the Atlantis challenge.
Following typical Blacksmith format, the second non-gift will come from Atlantis, and is likely a Blacksmith item, Boss drop, or maybe a challenge drop.
Red Pearl Compass + (one of 13 possible items) + (one of 35 possible gifts, excluding Evil Eye Talisman and December gifts onward) --> 13*35 combinations.

I think it might be easier if different people picked a gift and then tested the RPC with Atlantis items. Even better if we worked down through the list of gifts:
    Parrot
    Silver Hook
    Cannon
    Eye Patch
    Dual Scimitars
    Jolly Roger
    Ship Helm
    Compass
    Bone Necklace
    Melee Scimitar
    Pirate Monkey
    Chinese Pirate Sails
    Rabbit Skull Bandana
    Boxing Gloves
    Pirate Tombstone
    Zombie Compass
    Zombie Dagger
    Bandit Gloves
    Captain's Rum Flask
    Captain's Spy Glass
    Lucky Shovel
    Peg Leg
    Captain's Hook
    Boat Cat
    Bronze Eagle
    Lion Figurehead
    Ship's Bell
    Boat Rat
    Boat Dog
    Letter of Marque
    Sea Turtle
    Pirate Captain Hat
    Bottle of Grog
    Pirate Telescope
    Treasure Chest

And here is the list of Atlantis Drops:
Adventure - Atlantis Key, Golden Challice, Giant Pearl
Blacksmith - Ancient Divesuit, Juggernaut and Coast Guard
Boss - Warrior Cannon, Sub, Warrior Armor, Blade
    Challenge - Trident (and two others...that I don't know)
Could someone please let me know what the other two Atlantis Challenge drops are? I'm fairly sure I have them, but I don't know what they are.

EDIT: I had my levels confused. It should be level 175 instead of level 420.

Ok, I thought the marlinespike was a gift, sorry. I will take those out. But you have your levels confused. The level in question is 175. If the first level in Atlantis is 135 and they go by 20 then the Giant Pearl should be on level 175. BTW, the Giant Pearl is before the Red Pearl Compass. But I gave it the benefit of the doubt because I am up in Cartegena and don't know the exact level numbers in Atlantis trying both non-gift items.
As far as sorting, I was using the Atlantis item as the first item.
Here is my edited list of failures:
silver hook + silver dagger + giant pearl
silver hook + silver dagger + red pearl compass

silver hook + trident + giant pearl
silver hook + trident + red pearl compass

silver hook + coast guard + red pearl compass
silver hook + coast guard + giant pearl

silver hook + juggernaut + giant pearl
silver hook + juggernaut + red pearl compass

silver hook + ancient diver + silver dagger
silver hook + ancient diver + giant pearl
silver hook + ancient diver + red pearl compass

silver hook + atlean trade vessel + silver dagger
silver hook + atlean trade vessel + giant pearl
silver hook + atlean trade vessel + red pearl compass

silver hook + sea nymphs + silver dagger
silver hook + sea nymphs + giant pearl
silver hook + sea nymphs + red pearl compass

silver hook + atlantis blade + atlantis key
silver hook + atlantis blade + giant pearl
silver hook + atlantis blade + red pearl compass

compass + silver dagger + giant pearl

The Atlantis Blade is a random attack drop. You get it for attacking the Sea Serpent, yours or your clan's. You don't have to be a certain level, you can get them on the first level of the boss.

I am not much help this weekend, but I will start with the Treasure Chest when I have more time and post results then pick the next gift in the line.

Did I say 420? Oops, still stuck on Viking Clan's recipe. >.<
Where are the "Sea Nymphs" coming from? Challenge? Ugh, my brain is totally fried.
Yeah, I don't know the exact adventure, either, but I was told Red Pearl Compass...and since the Giant Pearl is used in another recipe...
I'll try the Red Pearl Compass as well as the Giant Pearl and go through the list of gifts. :(
    I'm all fuzzy-headed. "I can't brain today; I have the dumb."
Marlinespike is a purchased weapon. I have 1 from when I was testing it with random stuff.
And I am working with the Parrot at the moment. Could you tell me what the Atlantis Challenge drops are? I think I'm going to have to skip those...

The drops from the Atlantis challenge are the Trident, Sea Nymphs, and Atlantean Trade Vessel. I'm still working on the Silver Hook but I think I am about done with it.
Here are some more failures for that:

silver hook + marlinespike + giant pearl
silver hook + marlinespike + red pearl compass
silver hook + mermaid + giant pearl
silver hook + mermaid + red pearl compass
silver hook + merman + giant pearl
silver hook + merman + red pearl compass

The mermaid and merman are purchased mateys, but I figured I would give them a try.

Hey, at least I am trying!

    Parrot

So it appears that the Silver Hook is not the gift. We also know it isn't one of February's gifts and not the Evil Eye Talisman.
Except for the Challenge drops, here is the Parrot tests:
    GP = giant pearl
    RPC = red pearl compass

    Adventure -
Parrot + Atlantis Key + RPC
Parrot + Golden Challice + RPC
    Parrot + GP + RPC
Parrot + Atlantis Key + GP
Parrot + Golden Challice + GP

    Blacksmith -
Parrot + Ancient Divesuit + GP
Parrot + Ancient Divesuit + RPC
    Parrot + Juggernaut + GP
    Parrot + Juggernaut + RPC
Parrot + Coast Guard + GP
Parrot + Coast Guard + RPC

    Boss -
Parrot + Atlantis Warrior Cannon + GP
Parrot + Atlantis Warrior Cannon + RPC
Parrot + Atlantis Sub + GP
Parrot + Atlantis Sub + RPC
Parrot + Atlantis Warrior Armor + GP
Parrot + Atlantis Warrior Armor + RPC
Parrot + Atlantis Blade + GP
Parrot + Atlantis Blade + RPC

Challenge - Trident, Sea Nymphs, Atlantean Trade Vessel
Apparently I don't have the Trident...
I don't have the Atlantean Trade Vessel...
and don't recall seeing the Sea Nymphs...
So those are still an option.

the coastguard is the first atlantis blacksmith recipe
all the other hidden recipes use the first blacksmith item from that area
so, following that logic, the coastgaurd would be one of the nongift items
only a theory based on what ive seen so far

edit, that logic doesnt follow for the minstral maidain, but they do all use a previous blacksmith item

Are you sure? I thought it was the most recent item that was used...

    EDIT: I went and checked.
    • Aztec High Priest - uses first Blacksmith recipe of that region, is last Blacksmith recipe of that region
    • Chinese Sea Dragon - uses first Blacksmith recipe of that region, is last Blacksmith recipe of that region
    • Minstrel Maiden - uses 2nd Blacksmith recipe of that region (Jaguar Knight right before it), is 2nd-last Blacksmith recipe of that region
    • Silent Assassin - uses 3rd Blacksmith recipe of that region (Wise Old Spirit right before it), is last Blacksmith recipe of that region
    • Prison Transport - (I haven't unlocked it yet)

So, no, not always the first. But always using a Blacksmith item from the specified region.
Going further, we know that it uses:
    1 Gift, currently unknown
1 item unlocked in Atlantis at level 175 (either the Red Pearl Compass or the Giant Pearl)
1 other item (this would be the Blacksmith one)

Could SOMEONE please go and find out what adventure is level 175?
I'm not sure what adventure it is. Ruby Rann, you have a VERY good point, but that would mean a player unlocks the next location at the same time they unlock the last adventure of the previous location AS WELL AS the first adventure of the new location!
    ADVENTURES:
    • Search fer th' Key o' Atlantis - unlocked with the opening of Atlantis at level 135
    • Explore Undersea Shipwrecks - would then be level 155
    • Discover th' Lost City of Atlantis - the magic level 175
    • Discover th' Underwater Cave o' Red Pearls - level 195
    • Search fer Le Clerc's Golden Leg - level 215
    • Recover Cap'n Deadeye's Lost Helm - at level 235, same time Port Royal opens with Regulate the Rum Trade
That doesn't make sense; two adventures unlocked at the same level. So we come back to knowing it is either the Giant Pearl or the Red Pearl Compass.

Lvel 175 is the Giant Pearl while at 195 is the Read Compass.

    Hope it helps...
