I've put a lot om points on defense, but I still loose to clans much smaller than my clan. How's the attack/defense strength calculated? Is there 3 different values (personal, weapons and warriors)? In that case, how are they weighted? If I have weapons with higher attack/defense strengths than the power-ups has - is there a point buying them?
There are lot's of threads in the forum with this issue of skill placement and att/def value. 1st there has been a thread in updates by Kendall on the roll out of a new value system for the att/def skills which should help those that invested into the two skills. As the % of how they are weighed that still maybe a issue. In any case this change should be for the better. Here's the link http://forums.kanoapps.com/showthread.php?t=1209. As for the higher att/def of weapons and warriors, yes it is better to have the strongest of these items it does matter in battle calculations.
