Well, I saw earlier that the Svalinn Sun Shield is level 300 unlock. It is purchased. The adventure drop at level 300 is the Battle Etin. However, the Battle Etin is a Warrior and is used in a different recipe. Thus far Warriors aren't used for Weapons and only gifts are used in more than one recipe.

So, since that is 99.9% definitely ruled out, it is safe to assume the Svalinn Sun Shield is used.
Secret Ninja, could you please give us our first hint?

How do you find a Ninja. I'm going to use my FB Viking in some extensive crafting tries. Will post a load of fails and maybe the Epic Win. Figuring out another recipe should make me immortal. lol

 

I've kind of given up on VC tests.
Another few levels and I can work on the Old Tyme Sniper Rifle in PC. Since I'll be AT the unlock level, I will know what can NOT be used.

But I'm surprised that the Ninja has posted NO hints AT ALL for Viking OR Pirate Clan. None. Nada. Zilch. Zippo. Nein.

Of the new secret recipes I know we have the ebony knife and highland bow unlocked, are there any others unlocked that were new? If not, both of those two use challenge rewards, perhaps this is a pattern? From the Vanaheim challenge we have the three Freyja rewards (sword, follower & tears I think?), so maybe at least one of them is used. Based on the name I would guess the sword, but we've seen that the name doesn't always reflect the ingredients. Just a thought anyways

 

Sorry, I thought for a minute that the Serpent Claw Blade was a challenge reward but I realize it is a boss unlock. My bad.

 

Freyja Sword is used elsewhere, and the strength of the item indicates that a World Boss Drop (the one for Level 300) is used.

Actually, ALL of the Freyja challenge items are used. Same with the Muspell ones. And the two weapons from Niflheim are all used (don't know about the warrior...). So I doubt it's a challenge drop. The World Boss is much more likely. I mean, you NEED a level 300 item.

And the World Bosses have items that will ONLY drop if you've reached level 300.

 

That would be the first recipe with a world boss drop, wouldn't it? Seems plausible to me - would explain the power of the ss blade. That'd mean either the "Thunderstoke Mace" (was it supposed to be "Thunderstroke" do you think?) or the "Mistlord Hammer". Sorry if I'm repeating someone elses observations. I haven't seen anyone try the hammer.. but the Nidhogg has been around since before the new recipes, hasn't it? So it seems plausible.

Skyshine Blade = 2 non-gift items and 1 gift item.

We are confident that World Boss lvl 300 drop "Mistord hammer/thunderstroke mace" is used.

Other lvl 300 unlocks are Svalin Sun Shield and Battle Ettin.

As for gifts... well there's a lot of those, and I actually don't have all of them.

I'm guessing though, this gives us a point of refference.
Mistlord Hammer + Sun Shield + gift is most likely formula? or has somebody already gone through that?

 

Battle Etin is used in another recipe. Thus far, in VC and in PC, non-gift items are NOT used in multiple recipes. Um, some trials have been run. Let me check.

 

Also, this is NOT the first recipe to use a World Boss drop.

I notice that in many recipes the gift is somewhat related to the object produced (wheras the other ingredients are often unrelated) so I tried combinations of

Thunderstroke Mace, Mistlord Hammer, Sun Shield, +
+ Solar Eclipse Medallion, Blessed Oil, Sacred Well, Advent Wraith

but to no avail. I don't have the "Moon Stone".. Do the "Vanir" objects relate to "Vanheim" by the way? There's the scroll of Vanir Knowledge, but I don't have that yet either.

 

Nope. And the name doesn't have anything to do with it. Also, those two gifts are NOT eligible; they were released AFTER the new recipes.
