[PC] The Pirate Clan Item Creation Contest 2014!

The Item Creation Contest returns from its slumber!

Two years ago we ran our first Item Creation Contest and I’ve decided that now is a good time to revive it. From today until September 22, you have the opportunity to submit a description for an item you would like to see in game!

This item can be anything you imagine, but try to keep it within the overall “theme” of the game. For your item submission to be considered, it needs to follow this format:

Try to keep things safe for work! To keep the clutter down posts that are not strictly related to this contest will be removed. Entries will go right in this thread here.

After submissions close on September 22, a panel of Kano judges consisting of myself, the artists, Aardvark and a few others will pick the top submissions from each game and announce the winners on September 30! Prizes are being finalized, but trust me, it will be worth it.

ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY – On 2nd August, 1343, Olivier de Clisson was found guilty of treason and beheaded at Les Halles in Paris, on the orders of King Philip VI. Oliver’s head was sent to Nantes and displayed on a pole outside the Castle of Bouffay. His wife, Jeanne de Clisson, enraged over her husband's execution, swore revenge on the King and the nobility. She sold their holding, bought a fleet of ships, and took to the sea as a pirate.
She became known as the Lioness of Brittany and stalked the English Channel for French ships from 1343 – 1356. The ships that Jeanne purchased were painted all black on her command, and the sails dyed red. The 'Black Fleet' took to the waters and began hunting down and destroying the ships of King Philip VI, and were merciless with the crews. But Jeanne would always leave two or three of Philip's sailors alive, so that the message would get back to the King that the 'Lioness of Brittany' had struck once again.

man... took me a while to think of them. *sigh* well at least the mi7chblade is still there lol. glad you like it but im going to try and think of a diferent one and come up with a cool description. just hope i can do so before the times up lol. good ideas take time

backstory:
captain quack(who looks similar to this)

decide one day to set sail on the ever expanding and vast seas ruled by kano-opolous. quickly captain quack realizes that in order to actually sail in kano-opolus's seas it is highly recommended to use a ship. after the long torturous nights in east tortuga, west tortuga and tenochtitlan captain quack finds the perfect ship.(looks somewhat like this)

captain quack new the moment he saw the ship it was going to be his. but in order for captain quack to obtain the ship he had to track down and hunt the captain exterminate the crew and claim the ship. so the captains journey has truly begun Quack started to swim island to island as fast as he can battling of course. doing a few adventures whenever he could spare the energy to do so. the next few weeks Quack swam fought and did adventures going from peking to barbay and somehow down to atlantis. while he was in atlantis he talked to a few of the locals and got word the ship was on the next island not to far away from atlantis. captain quack had learned that the owner of the ship was called Mi7ch leading his crew of what he calls Amazingly Nice Team of Pirates. so very quickly captain Quack leaves atlantis and heads onward to port royal. about halfway through port royal he sees the ship he had been longing to get. but Quack doesnt immediately attack the captain and his crew he observes him fighting the bosses doing adventures and battling others. slowly gaining the experience and knowledge to surpass Mi7ch and defeat him. so captain quack follows him for a couple of months learning new strategies and ways to fight and just kill in general. Quack had been following mi7ch for quite some time now from port royal to cartenga even through davy jones locker but finally Quack gains the courage to confront mi7ch in the bahamas because it is known as the place of dreams and since quacks dream was to obtain the ship he thought it would be perfect time to do so. when mi7ch was about halfway done with the bahamas quack walks up and says lets go a few rounds mi7ch. mi7ch gladly abides and they fight but of course captain quack won and pretty easily to even though mi7ch pulled out his legendary mi7chblade. but quack knew he wasnt done yet the ship and the rest of mi7chs armada had to be dealt with. but surprisingly they were no mach for quack. he dealt with them even easier then mi7ch but that could only have been done with mi7chs trusty mi7chblade. now that quack had obtained the ship of his dreams he decided to call it the duck-a-ray for no reason at all just was the first name that came to his mind. and with all of the swimming captain quack has done throughout all of the locations he had been through he became surprisingly strong. so he had no problem maning the duck-a-ray by himself. but he thought it would be nice to have some sort of crew, so that is when quacks journey for a crew began. at each new location he visited he gained a few crewmates. in japan he gained 3, new orleans 2, on the drifting turtle island 4, bombay 2, aurora glacier 3, easter island 1, fiddlers green 4, and finally in athens he completed his 25 man crew gaining 5 people there. then in the lost world captain quack found another neat treasure. it was a long-sword that had the hilt shaped like a ducks head(would look similar to this)which he called the duckblade:

i was going to keep going with this but thought this would be enough of a story to entertain. still cant find a good image for what the mi7chblade would look like sadly but the name of the weapon basically says how it would look.
