    TGIF! Here’s your development news round-up for the past week!

    Player Bans April 23 - April 29

    As a reminder, the following numbers are permanently frozen accounts, and don't count temporary freezes.

    FB: 1
    KP2: 0
    Kong/Armor: 2

    The majority of permanently frozen accounts are frozen for being a shared or alternate account. This is something we actively investigate, and we appreciate players reporting suspicious accounts to us.

    If you have any questions or comments about a frozen account, please direct them through Support as the Forums are not the place to discuss account freezes, because of the sensitive account information involved.

    Yowsa what a thread it is too.

    Welcome new players that are willing to learn the nuances before trying to change the place.

    There were some thoughtful suggestions hidden among the drama. Please know that if you have a suggestion there is an idea forum that is better suited for single ideas. There we can discuss the pros and cons of changes so kano gets a good idea of how it affects various accounts and styles.

    (I still don't like the extended protection, not with the levelling available now)

    In the thread you mentioned y'all are considering tweaks (small changes, isn't a good term in my opinion as the word change brings stress so I've renamed it) May I inquire as to if input will be allowed BEFORE these are dropped into the game? There are many styles and builds in the game, and just about every change that was just dropped in has hurt a certain build. It'd be nice if we got a chance to point out the pitfalls we foresee before so kano can incorporate that feedback into what they actually do.

    For instance. i built defense early to withstand the onslaught from hunting. Hired were dropped in and suddenly I was extremely vulnerable again and it took a very long time to over come that and cost a great deal of skills elsewhere to do so. (of course the ones that went after so hard quit the game right after I over game it but that's neither here nor there) Another example is how defense works in BA. We might as well not have it with the set up. Same with RB's. And with the ambushes. Many have found it's next to useless as it just affects too many of the events to make it worth it.

    Another example is all the folks that went stamina heavy only to have the game change to a cap of how much is refilled when levelling. Nearly useless skill points if you never get that extra stam.

    Or adding boosted health and those that had built to withstand offline attacks without being vulnerable to pk now had a problem.

    Or for example dropping in achievements for consecutive fights. know how easy that is to get when you are new and there are a lot of dead accounts versus how hard it is when you are in the top tier and have a limited FL?

    List goes on and on. I am sure many of these could have had things built into them to lessen the impact.

    Oops. I meant to just ask the question and await the response but I suppose I got a bit wordy.
