As a reminder, the following numbers are permanently frozen accounts, and don't count temporary freezes.

The majority of permanently frozen accounts are frozen for being a shared or alternate account. This is something we actively investigate, and we appreciate players reporting suspicious accounts to us.

If you have any questions or comments about a frozen account, please direct them through Support as the Forums are not the place to discuss account freezes, because of the sensitive account information involved.

Recently we noticed some players talking about meeting up in real life, which led to @mi7ch and I having a bit of an argument.

I love the social side of our games. It's great that people can talk and help each-other, forming lasting alliances, friendships, even relationships! So I think it's awesome people who have gotten to know each other though the game are interested in meeting in person.

My compatriot doesn't disagree, however he does have some reservations. For example, he is a bit uncomfortable with the idea of you guys using the forums to publicly organizing meetings, just in case somebody tries murder you and make a suit out of your skin.

I certainly can't fault anyone for thinking about safety first, so we ask that players not try to organize meetups through forum posts, as this would make information about your location public. We'll be removing any posts like this that we see in the forums or games.

You can choose to organize meetup through private channels such as PMs. HOWEVER, please make sure you do so safely! There are a wide variety of resources available that discuss this topic, and I highly recommend doing some reading before attempting a meetup.

Here are a few essential tips from us:

• Choose a public place
• Bring a friend (or two!)
• Make sure a few people know when and where you are meeting this person
• Do some research - use social media to get a better understanding of the person you are meeting
• Don't give out personal info like your phone number or home address
• Trust your instincts, and don't be afraid to bail if you are not feeling comfortable.
• Have an exit plan - something like another engagement set up for later so you will have a legit excuse to leave if you wish.

This is insane and I'd guess most of this is done for the purpose of raids. IDK why this type of behavior is so prevalent on k/a but, it's pretty sad and I'm sure giving quite an unfair advantage to those that use them while, keeping bosses and benefits from being shared out to real players. I hope you consider taking away the rewards from the mains at least.

 

601 account freezes is incredible & shows how much players are cheating on this platform. One question: how much alts must be made to make grounds for a main account ban?

 

These alts were actually frozen before the Raids occurred and were pointed out to us by a player. A large percentage of them were not active and hadn't been used in some time.

 

This is really a sad reflection on how scared people are for little reason. Due to the constant focus on violence by mass media, people have become progressively more scared of violence / other people. Even though crime has greatly reduced over the last decades and is probably lower than ever (in the West).

Over the past several months, the LE Items on LCN have steadily been increasing in regards to their perspective Attack and Defense Strengths like never before! Overall, I like that Kano has been creating more powerful Items, but I have a MAJOR problem when I spent HUNDREDS of Favor Points on the "Gold Crates" going for the "Legendary Items" players had a chance to win. Unfortunately, my "Legendary" Items are not so "Legendary" anymore because there are now so many regular LE Items that are much more powerful than them, and this is where I see a problem! If you are going to make a "Legendary" Item, I strongly feel that Kano should not be offering other Items that are more powerful - they make the "Legendary" Items I worked so hard to get almost useless, and DEFINITELY not worth the Favor Points I spent on them! How can a regular LE Item be more powerful than a "Legendary" Item Kano?

 

@mi7ch - Do you know if Kano will be offering future LE Items as a "Package Deal" as they recently did, or offer any type of "Package Deals" similar to the ones I am referring too? I believe those "Package Deals" were a pretty big hit, and sure would love to see more of them!

Not to use this weeks joke, but 600 Account Freezes/Bans seems a bit "fishy" being reported by one Player. Is it possible the person who reported these Accounts may have had something to do with them in order to receive some kind of Reward? I just don't understand how one person could possibly have the knowledge of 600+ alt Accounts, report them, and all 600 of them be legitimate..

 

Perhaps I am over simplifying my original statement; the player who reported a few syndicates to us didn't do so for a reward, just to help the game. And they didn't report 600 accounts, but when investigating unused or inactive alts we do find that they are connected to more. It's kind of like a stack of dominoes in that way. Hope that clears things up.

GREAT to know @mi7ch - Guess I will be saving up my Favor Points for when a good "Package Deal" is made available! Do you have any idea or timeframes as to when we might see these offers again on LCN, or perhaps time-structured release dates? And yes - your answer regarding the 600 Accounts that were recently frozen definitely cleared up my suspicions! Thanks for the info!
