    Any idea when this will happen? Not a big change. But it would be nice to have back for "Share to Syncdicate", it doesn't need to be coded for anything else because it wasn't before.

    I see this got added back, but %'s are incorrect
    Example: Sjovaettir Level: 10 - 98% Max Helper Dmg was sent to me and limit was only set @ minimum
    Might wanna take out the hyphen as well ;)

    Shouldn't it look like this??? Sjovaettir Level 10: 2% Max Helper Dmg

    Not totally sure what you mean, AlterEgoT. 3 of the 6 Limiteds for sale right now have higher Def than Att.

    @Old Salt & @Kirsten I might be misunderstanding you. In LCN one of the issues is that people who have levelled quickly with raids tend to invest their SP in energy and stamina, and sometimes they also build very strong inventories to compensate for low Att & Def. This has created a situation where some higher level players who've been in the game for a long time are weaker in fights than people who recently joined but built strong inventories. Cagematching would be a way to make the field more level between these players by removing the benefit of a super strong inventory equipped to your mob, and allowing the Att+Def SP investment of higher levels to be more useful. I realize some players in PC have designed their accounts to only be good via caging, and we'd definitely want to avoid creating that scenario too much in other games if we added it (i.e. by capping it off at a certain point.) That's a different ball of wax to the reason we'd look to institute it here though.

    Kinda fixed Mitch, now show's Angrboda Level: 43 - 2% Max Helper Dmg
    I dealt 7433734 dmg.
    Total boss health= 250,268,000x .02=5005360 dmg should be max.


    Marauder Fleet Level: 50 - 1% Max Helper Dmg
    Uhm min dmg is 2%, correct me if I'm wrong (max boss health/50) not 1%=2% should be max ;)
    259,972,000 boss max health/ 2680124 dmg=4% ??? :eek:

    @JADES the amount that the link shows is drawn from cache when you share the link, so if the boss owner changes the slider value after sharing the link, the % will be wrong until they share a fresh link. In both of those links you shared a fresh post of the link shows 98% Max Helper Dmg.

    So you want to introduce cagematching to address the imbalance that the Raids have caused in the game? How about just doing away with the Raids? ;) At least stop running them every single month. Caging will just open up a whole new batch of issues as it still is basically taking a shortcut to get some cheap wins.

    The problem going on in LCN it seems to me is that you imported a lot of these heavy-duty Zynga players (who seem to have no spending limit when it comes to their credit cards) and they just continued to do what they did in Mafia Wars after they came here. Spend. Spend. Spend. That combined with raids is what has now created the imbalance you're seeing that's leaving a lot of the older players fighting for their lives.

    I would say the latter issue is more of the problem than the raids. The reason I brought up cagematching is because it'd be a way for older, higher level players to be competitive with some of the people who spend aggressively on their inventory, until they have a chance to adjust their characters and/or take advantage of other balance fixes we have in the works. It'd be the opposite scenario to PC where you guys are seeing weaker and presumably lower/same level players building cagematch-only characters without any hireds or a strong total inventory. But that was just a thought, we don't have anything in the works to add cagematching to other games at this point.

    True, I was going to say that it is the mirror image to the issue in PC as it relates to caging. There has to be a way to address this, I just don't see caging as the solution IMO.
